Foundation for Sustainable Development with Human Values ( FSHDV) was launched in August of 2007 to promote sustainable livelihoods for the impoverished. FSHDV is committed to addressing poverty among the poorest communities and promoting sustainable livelihoods, bringing back dignity, pride, hope and self-worth to women.
FSHDV is currently active in South Asia, focusing on women who are proven to be resilient in the face of calamity, to be willing to adapt to new circumstances and to learn a new trade or livelihood. Providing sustainable livelihoods, developing entrepreneurial, technical and marketable skills towards improved incomes and living conditions are the main goals of the projects that the Foundation promotes.
